FAQs for Private Dog Training in Placitas
The cost varies based on your dog’s needs and training goals. Our standard six-week Good Buddy Dog Training Program is $850 and covers most clients' requirements. For more complex cases, additional training may be recommended after the initial evaluation.
Our six-week private dog training program covers core commands such as Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Place, and Loose Leash Walking, along with addressing minor behavioral issues like jumping, door charging, and digging. If your dog has more challenging behaviors, we may suggest extra sessions for long-term success.
The evaluation helps us assess your dog’s behavior, identify challenges, and create a customized plan. The evaluation fee compensates our trainers’ time and is credited toward your program if you decide to continue.
Our standard program is six weeks, with one session per week. Each session focuses on building obedience skills and correcting minor behavioral issues. Additional sessions may be recommended based on your dog’s progress and needs.
Each session is around one hour, where the trainer will work on exercises with your dog and guide you through techniques to practice at home.
We understand schedules can change. Just inform us in advance, and we’ll arrange a makeup session to keep your dog’s training consistent.
